Some of the recent projects that I have worked on.
As Part of my Current Job as Web Developer for NIC Nebraska, I worked on the development of various Applications for numerous State Agencies in Nebraska.
Some of the applications include. Online Registration and Driver's License renewal apps for Department of Motor Vehicles. Backend Over the Counter Payment System for DMV. Fingerprinting Appointment Booking Application for Nebraska State Patrol. Nebraska Secretary of State Website and many more.
Our Team built a Community Partnership Initiative (CPI) tool collects and showcases projects and partnerships between University of Nebraska at Omaha campus and the community
This Application was built using Python Django Framework and utilizes various statistical APIs to showcase UNO's community engagement. Showcases all the community partners of the University over an interactive google maps and various Data visualizations.
Nebraska Watershed Network Application is a citizen science project application built to help volunteers across Nebraska to collect water samples and upload the minerals content to information to a central database which can be used by researchers at the University to conduct Research on Ground Water.
This application made a tedious process super easy. Prior to this applications use, volunteers had to call the co-ordinators to get the test kits and then mail the test results which tooks a very long time. Now volunteers can request the test-kits by the press of the button and upload the results within minutes from their mobile. It also points the results on a map to see trends in mineral content across Nebraska.
This project code base is being used in Idaho to bulid their version of the application as well.
Performed various statistical analysis and generated plots using R Programming on Bird Banding Dataset of past 20 years provided by a Coyote Creek Bird Banding Station in San Francisco and helped them analyze the dataset. Generated various plots and graphs to help find trends in Bird migrations and how the birds changed over the years. It also helped to take necessary steps to prevent extinction of certain species of Birds.
